Design by Santa Adele
September 2014 to June 2016 - AP degree in fashion design
The program focused on womenswear & provided a foundational understanding of the design field, along with practical theories and techniques in the fashion and lifestyle industry. We worked with developing basic design skills & learning about the entire design process, from the first sketches to production.
We studied tools to help us evaluate target audiences, trends & how to navigate the fashion world in general. Learned to analyze existing brands DNAs & develop a cohesive collection that aligns with it.
Throughout the studies we practiced both – hand sketching & learning Adobe's Graphic Design tools, which helped us greatly when creating presentations for our collections.

The project centers around a problem statement formulated by the student for an existing company. It includes working with design DNA, trend research and forecasting, as well as showcasing own designing & garment making skills.
